The Chandler Gallery Advisory Committee reviews proposals for exhibitions once a year for the following calendar year. The submission deadline is May 1st and notification of the decision will be made by June 1st.
Chandler Gallery is responsible for:
Generating a pdf for use of the artists.
Electronic mailing to ABC and MMA email lists.
Artist will receive 150 printed cards. If more are requested the artist must pay for the additional printing cost.
Organizing an opening reception with non-alcoholic drinks, and basic food.
Hanging the exhibition.
Individual artists, and groups of artists, are responsible for:
Delivery and pick up of artwork.
Framing of artwork.
Paying for a printed show card beyond 1000 cards.
Postage to mail printed cards beyond the 800.
Gallery sitting if desired.
Alcohol for opening reception.
A donation equal to 30% of any sales during an exhibit.
A donation equal to the sales price is made to MMA
Artists receive payment from MMA less 30% sales price
The Chandler Gallery reserves the right to waive any of the above costs to the exhibiting artists as they determine appropriate.
